FROSTBURG — Harriet B. (Babcock) Roe, 69, of Frostburg, died Thursday, July 4, 2013.

She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.

Services will be private.      

GOLDIE I. ALKIRE

SLANESVILLE, W.Va. — Goldie Irene Alkire, 94, of Slanesville, died on Friday, July 5, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at noon in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to the time of service.

Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Points.

KATHLEEN “KATE” OSTER

CUMBERLAND — Kathleen “Kate” (Grogg) Oster, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

A memorial service for Kate will be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday at 11 a.m.

CUMBERLAND — Edith Juanita (Kerns) Margraff, 101, of Cumberland, died Friday, July 5, 2013.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

EMMANUEL E.        MILLER JR.

OAKLAND — Emmanuel E. Miller Jr., 91, of Oakland, died Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Friends will be received at the Gortner Amish Church on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the church on Tuesday at 10 a.m.   

Interment will be in the Gortner Amish Cemetery.

BARBARA WOODBURN

SWANTON — Barbara (Owens) Penn Adams Woodburn, 71, of Harford County, formerly of Swanton, died Friday, July 5, 2013.  

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Oakland.  

ELIZABETH H. HEBB

OAKLAND — Elizabeth Hallie Hebb, 58, of Oakland, died on Friday, July 5, 2013.

Services will be conducted at the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in the Mellott Family Cemetery.

The Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 203 S. Second St., Oakland, is in charge of the arrangements.

MYRTLE F. KESNER

KEYSER, W.Va. — Myrtle Frances Kesner, 77, of Kesnerville, Keyser, died Thursday, July 4, 2013.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in the Omega-Alpha Cemetery, Knobley Road, Short Gap.
