OAKLAND — Richard Allen Cogley, 53, of Oakland, died Wednesday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.  

A memorial service will be held at Deer Park United Methodist Church on Sunday at 2 p.m.

JANET J. JONES

LOCK LYNN — Janet J. Jones, 80, of Loch Lynn Heights, died on Thursday at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  

Services will be conducted at the Mount Storm Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 1 p.m.

BRIAN C. DELONG

CUMBERLAND — Brian Christopher DeLong, 52, of Cumberland, died Wednesday at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Services will be private.

D. ALLEN HETZ

CUMBERLAND —  D. Allen Hetz, 62, of Cumberland, died Fridat at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Scarpelli Funeral Home, P. A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, is assisting the family with arrangements, which are incomplete at this time.

CUMBERLAND — Gertrude Theresa (Kompanek) Hartsock, 97, of Cumberland, died Thursday at the Chateau of Cumberland.

Services will be conducted at the Centre Street United Methodist Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.

MCHENRY — James Andrew “Jim” Bittinger, 57, of McHenry, died Friday the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., Accident, on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m.

Services will follow at 3 p.m.

PRISCILLA A. COPPOLA

TERRA ALTA, W.Va. — Priscilla A. Coppola, 73, of Terra Alta, died Friday at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at Faith United Methodist Church, 6715 Cranesville Road, Cranesville, W.Va., on Monday at 11 a.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.

IDA C. MORGAN

ESSEX — Ida C. Morgan, 100, of Essex, died Friday at her home.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.   

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the St. Ann Catholic Church on Monday at 2 p.m.
