ARTHUR, W.Va. — Richard Anthony Karpovich, 68, of Arthur, died Wednesday at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m.

ROMNEY, W.Va. — Janice Louise (Beery) Ruckman, 78, of Romney, died Thursday at Hampshire Center, Romney.

Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.   

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p.m.

AVILTON — M. Merla Murray, 74, of Avilton, died Wednesday at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, West Salisbury, Pa., on Monday at 11 a.m.

CRESAPTOWN — Paul “Pop” Edward Creegan, 78, of Cresaptown, died Thursday at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland,  on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m.

FRIENDSVILLE — Esta B. Selby, 93, of Friendsville, died Wednesday at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.  

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Bittinger officiating.

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Scelena Mae Brown, 97, of North Myrtle Beach, died Tuesday.

 A memorial service may be held at a later date.

RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Joseph Edward Talley III, 57, of Ridgeley, died Thursday at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland,  on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, Ridgeley, on Monday at 11 a.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
