Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.

CRESAPTOWN — William Robert Burkett, 90, of Cresaptown, died Thursday at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.

GREEN SPRING, W.Va. — Charles Owen “Buck” Andrews, 71, of Green Spring, died Wednesday in West Virginia.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 6 p.m.

BALTIMORE — Ira Arthur Mellon, 94, of Baltimore, formerly of Purgitsville, W.Va., died Wednesday at the VA Center, Baltimore.

Services will be private.

Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, is in charge of arrangements.

MOUNT SAVAGE —  John William “Link” Lancaster, 86, of Mount Savage, died Wednesday.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Savage United Methodist Church, 12619 New Row Road NW, Mount Savage, on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at 3 p.m.

GRANTSVILLE — Rhoda Deborah Bittner, 87, of Grantsville, died Thursday at Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frostburg.

A memorial service will be held in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 11 a.m.

CUMBERLAND — Margaret “Goggy” Lambert, 84, of Cumberland, died Wednesday at her home.

Friends will be received at the Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the Paw Paw Church of God on Saturday at 2 p .m. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

IMOGENE S. ALT

CATONSVILLE — Imogene Shreve Alt, 95, of Catonsville, died Thursday at her home.

Friends will be received at the Kimble Funeral Home, Franklin, W.Va., on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
