ANTHONY N. “SONNY” AMORUSO

KEYSER, W.Va. — Anthony Neil “Sonny” Amoruso, 73, of Keyser, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.

At Mr. Amoruso's request, there will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, on Friday at noon.

The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.

MARY J. STRAWSER

DEER PARK — Mary Jane Strawser, 92, of Deer Park, died on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013.  

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Deep Creek Baptist Cemetery.  

The Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland, is in charge of the arrangements.   

JOHN G. KETTERMAN

RIG, W.Va. — John G. Ketterman, 81, of Rig, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg.  

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Brake Cemetery, Dorcas.

CUMBERLAND — Martha V. Gragg, 90, of Cumberland, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Interment will be in Davis Memorial Park.

LEROY J. “SONNY” RITCHIE

FLINTSTONE — Leroy Junior “Sonny” Ritchie, 77, of Flintstone, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2013.  

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at the Chapel at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap on Monday at 2 p.m.  

Inurnment will be Maryland State Veteran’s Cemetery, Rocky Gap, Flintstone.

NEENAH D. TOWNSEND

LANCASTER, Pa. — Neenah D. Townsend, 91, formerly of Frostburg, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted in the St. John’s Episcopal Church, 52 Broadway, Frostburg, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park.

 

THOMASINE “TOMMIE” (GIBSON) CLAY

CUMBERLAND — Thomasine “Tommie” (Gibson) Clay, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.

At Tommie’s request, her body was donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board for medical science.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
