LONACONING   —     Sarah Jean Shockey, 26, of Lonaconing, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.

Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

 

NEIL R. “JUNIOR”    SHOOK JR.

CUMBERLAND — Neil R. “Junior” Shook Jr., 75, of Cumberland, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m.  

Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

ROSALIE VALENTINE

CUMBERLAND — Rosalie Valentine, 66, of Cumberland, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.

A memorial service will be conducted in the Livingstone Church of the Brethren on Sunday at noon.

Interment was in Greenmount Cemetery.

The Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, is in charge of the arrangements.

EMMA M. NICKELSON

ROMNEY, W.Va. — Emma Mae Nickelson, 88, of Romney, died on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McKee Funeral Home, Romney.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday in the funeral home at 1 p.m.  

Interment will follow at the Levels Cemetery, Levels.

MARY “MAMIE” C.    EVANS

ELLICOTT CITY — Mary “Mamie” C. Evans, 96, of Ellicott City, formerly of Frostburg, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.  

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

FROSTBURG — Joseph David Byers, 86, of Frostburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Frostburg Church of the Nazarene, 150 Center St., Frostburg, on Sunday at 2 p.m.  

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

 

RUTH A. SEARS

LAHMANSVILLE, W.Va. — Ruth Ann (Boswell) Sears, 101, of Lahmansville, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.

Family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Beaver Run Church of the Brethren, Burlington.

Interment will follow in the Beaver Run Cemetery, Bur-lington.
