It’s not a problem ... not in some people’s eyes

— Al Gore recently told a crowd, “Our country is in very serious trouble. But that does not mean I am optimistic.”

Then the former vice president shifted focused to the topic of money and politics and trotted out last year’s catch phrase, “Our democracy has been hijacked.”

Mr. Gore went on to say “The NRA is a complete fraud because it is financed by the gun manufacturers.” Gore’s belief is that the NRA is in league with the gun manufacturers as opposed to actually defending the Second Amendment rights of the people.

Al Jazeera is just fine though! In a rambling explanation, Mr. Gore justified the sale: “I did extensive diligence and found some pretty remarkable things; it has won major awards around the world for integrity in journalism.”

Al Jazeera is almost as propagandistic as the American media. I guess that’s why he likes it. With an estimated $100 million gross profit from the sale of his Current TV to pan-Arab broadcaster Al-Jazeera, Gore is now worth more than $300 million, according to an estimate from Forbes.com.

Gore’s net worth is greater than Mitt Romney’s but that’s not a problem for the poor. He’s a Democrat! He’s a hypocrite. That’s not a problem.

Gore also has his hand in a global investment company called Generation Investment Management, which he founded in 2004 with ex-Goldman Sachs executive David Blood.

Together, Blood and Gore have reportedly built a company with assets under management of more than $6 billion.

Gore sale of Current to Al-Jazeera, which is backed by Qatar, “reeks of irony,” given Qatar’s oil-based economy, which might not jibe with Gore’s environmental message from “An Inconvenient Truth.” He’s a hypocrite. That’s not a problem.  Gore refused to sell his company flailing television station Current TV to Glenn Beck; too unsavory a character evidently.

Rather, he sold the company for $500,000,000 (with Gore pocketing $70, to $100 million) to Al Jazeera, a Qatar owned television station.

Where does the Al Jazeera get its funding? From the oil-rich Qatar government — more than half its revenue comes from oil — and the royal family. He’s a hypocrite. That’s not a problem.

Mr. Gore went on to say “The NRA is a complete fraud because it is financed by the gun manufacturers.” Gore’s belief is that the NRA is in league with the gun manufacturers as opposed to actually defending the Second Amendment rights of the people.

Gore would never get in bed with someone whose interest is contrary to the American public. Well, not unless there’s money it! Then he can peacefully sleep with the enemy

Gore’s personal financial involvement in Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), is blatant, especially through Goldman Sachs — a large shareholder of CCX, and in 2004, the creator of Gore’s very own London-based hedge fund, Generation Investment Management.

The U.N.s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates that future warming due to human causes will be approximately half their most recent predictions and much lower than the amount of warming predicted in IPCC’s first three reports.

According to the IPCC a doubling of CO2 will lead to a warming of just 2.9 to 3.1 0F, significantly lower than the 5.4 to nearly 7 degree warming most recently estimated.

But does that matter to Al Jazeera, the American media or Mr. Gore, a pathetic snake-oil salesman and supreme capitalist that always makes a buck from his political allies? No. Nor do the low information voters ever catch on. He’s for the poor.

He’s a charlatan and a hypocrite. But ... it’s not a problem, just an “inconvenient truth.”
