Families of lost hunter thank searchers who didn’t give up

To all rescue personnel who were involved in the search for William Bradshaw Sr., the families would like to thank everyone for their time and dedication on the continuous effort that was made.

With the will and prayers of so many people, relatives, friends and the Burlington community, he survived the night.

He knew search personnel were looking for him.

Herb’s knowledge from the military is what brought him home to us after 19 hours gone. He knew to stop at dark and bed down until morning.

The K-9 unit was on the right trail and our ending was unbelievably successful.

To all hunters, young and old, we are starting a never give up policy, because we never gave up on him.

Unless told otherwise about a loved one, never give up.

The families don’t have enough words to express their thanks.

Thanks to all.

We also would like to thank the lady at the end of the road for offering her home to searchers and family members.
