The calls you’re receiving are not from the WM Food Bank

Western Maryland Food Bank Inc. has become aware that people in the area are receiving phone calls that show up (on caller ID) as Food Bank.

We would like to make the public aware that this is not the Western Maryland Food Bank.

It is our understanding this is a sales call from a company called Digitcom Services Inc. in Las Vegas. There is no affiliation between us and them.

Right now the Food Bank does have several things going on: legitimate events that are going on to benefit the Food Bank are participation in the Feinstein Challenge, several local food drives, a direct mail letter, and our annual Chefs of Steel Competition.

If you would like more information on any of these, please check out our website at:

If you are ever unsure about whether something is actually related to the Western Maryland Food Bank please, give us a call at 301-722-2797.

We appreciate all the support we receive from the area.Thank you,

Diana L. Loar, executive director
