Thanks to all who took part in ‘Our Town — Cumberland’

All the men and women on the Maryland Public Television team join me in expressing our thanks and congratulations to the people of the Frostburg-Cumberland Region for their superb work on the MPT documentary “Our Town — Cumberland.”

We were proud to broadcast this homegrown production and are especially grateful to all the residents who took up cameras to film the many attractions of your area and to interview so many delightful people who told Cumberland’s story as only local people can do.

I’m thankful, too, to the Cumberland Times-News and other media who supported the citizens’ work and publicized the program so that as many residents as possible could tune in for the March 9 premiere.

You can be certain that MPT will be inserting “Our Town — Cumberland” into our program lineup for many years to come. Bravo, Cumberland!
