To the Editor:
Politicians want to be re-elected, but often they don’t have what it takes to make a stable economy, let alone get highway projects done, like U.S. Route 219, which has been stagnant since 1970.
The 9.1 unemployment rate in Somerset County is totally unacceptable. What are they doing, keeping the money for themselves; not proving to the citizens of Pennsylvania that they’re really for real. None of them impress me.
People in their offices are not as helpful and knowledgeable as they seem because they think everything is a joke.
They have to realize that it’s tough times for a lot of people since the coal miners were laid off.
Why don’t they pay attention to what people have to say instead of not listening?
