Man’s return of purse makes resident’s Thanksgiving special

This is to let you know about an extremely compassionate and honest man that I had the luck of encountering over the Thanksgiving celebration.

In the confusion of the holiday rush, I mistakenly left my purse on my car as I pulled out of my driveway onto U.S. Route 220. A short time later I looked for my purse and realized what had happened. I drove home as fast as I could and looked for my purse with no sign of it anywhere.

I was so upset, when a man driving a white pickup truck pulled in across the road and had found my purse in the middle of the road, picked it up and returned it to me.

I was so upset that I could only recall his first name being Rick, I think. I would love to hear from him again and thank him properly for what he did, and also let the people of this area know how lucky we are to still have this honest man around.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
