FROSTBURG — Together with their families, Megan Sue Smith and Thomas Ray Leasure Jr. are proud to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Megan is the daughter of Kim Smith and the late Bob Smith Jr. of Frostburg. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Dutch and Sally Blank, Frostburg. Megan is a 1999 graduate of Beall High School, and a 2004 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a degree in physics, concentrating in engineering. She is currently employed at ATK as a quality engineer.

Tom is the son of Ella Leasure, Fredericksburg, Va., and Tom Leasure Sr., Ellicott City. The groom-to-be is the grandson of Homer and Marion Leasure, Cumberland, and Mildred Deem, Berlin. Tom is a 1999 graduate of Beall High School and a 2004 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a degree in computer science. He is currently a self-employed Web developer.

The couple currently resides in Frostburg with their English springer spaniel, Bailey.

The wedding is planned for May 23, 2009. Invitations will be sent.
