Durst, Gilbert engagement

FROSTBURG — John and Sandra Durst of Frostburg are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stefani Nicole Durst, Durango, Colo., to Travis Monroe Gilbert, Durango, son of Patrick and Catherine Gilbert, Baltimore, grandson of Elizabeth Rabel of Towson and Lois Wendell and the late Archie Monroe Gilbert of Parkersburg, W.Va.
Stefani is the granddaughter of Tom and Anna May Gracie, Clarysville, Freeman and Shirley Beitzel, Grantsville, and Wayne and Alice Clise, Florida, and the late Joseph Durst Jr. She is the great-grandaughter of the late Joseph Durst Sr. and Anna E. (Edwards) Durst.
Stefani is a 2000 graduate of Beall High School, a 2002 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, and a 2006 graduate of Salisbury University with a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography and ceramics with a minor in psychology. Stefani is also a Usui Reiki master. She is currently employed as a manager of The Smoothie Shack, Durango.
Travis is a 2000 graduate of Loyola High School in Towson and a 2004 graduate of Salisbury University with a bachelor of science degree in business and marketing. He is currently employed as bar manager at Jasmine, a fine dining restaurant in Durango, and is attending fly fishing school. He is in the process of beginning his own fly fishing guide business in the Durango area.
An October wedding is being planned in Ocean City, Md., and a reception to follow at a later date in Frostburg.
