Africa, Brant engagement

FROSTBURG — Brooke Elayne Africa and Jeffrey Ryan Brant are pleased to announce their engagement.

Brooke is the daughter of Sam and Angel Africa of Corriganville. She is a 2006 graduate of Beall High School. Brooke is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Frostburg State University. She will eventually be transferring to the University of Wilmington North Carolina, where she hopes to obtain her degree and teach kindergarten.

Jeffrey is the son of Danny and Karen Brant of Finzel. He is a 2006 graduate of Beall HIgh School. Jeffrey joined the United States Marine Corps out of high school. He is currently doing a tour of duty in Iraq and is due home in May.

A wedding date has not yet been set.
