McCormick, Twigg engagement

MEYSERSDALE, Pa. — Together with their parents, Abigail Morgan McCormick and Christopher Cory Twigg are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage.

Abby is the daughter of Cheryl and Morgan McCormick and the granddaughter of Rose and Gomer Morgan and the late John and Mary McCormick. She is a 2001 graduate of Beall High School and a 2005 and 2007 graduate of Frostburg State University, receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in school counseling. She is currently employed with the Washington County Board of Education as an elementary school counselor.

Cory is the son of Elissa and Leonard Twigg and the grandson of Mary Alice Twigg and the late Allison Twigg and the late Susan and Joseph McGuire. He is a 1997 graduate of Mount Savage High School. Cory is a licensed general contractor and is the owner of Twigg Builders.

The wedding will be held on July 19, 2008, at Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort. A reception will immediately follow at the Frostburg State University Lane Center.
