CUMBERLAND — Together with their parents, John Kifer and Michelle Phillips are proud to announce their engagement. The couple got engaged on the beach in Clearwater, Fla., on March 23, 2007.
John is the son of Suzanne and Raymond Rowley of Cumberland and Greg and Mary Kifer of Plant City, Fla., formerly of Cumberland. John is a graduate of Allegany High School and Potomac State College of West Virginia University with an associate’s degree in science. He moved to Tampa, Fla., to attend the University of South Florida, and currently resides there with Michelle. John currently works for Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Tampa International Airport, where he is a management trainee.
Michelle is the daughter of Marilyn and Steve Phillips of Oldsmar, Fla. Michelle graduated from East Lake High School and the University of South Florida, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in mass communications. She is currently employed by T. Rowe Price, where she is the senior representative in small business retirement accounts.
Michelle’s and John’s wedding is scheduled to be held at the A La Carte Event Pavilion May 10, 2008.
