Daniel, Butler engagement

FALLSTON – Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Margaret Daniel of Fallston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Scott, to Daniel Timothy Butler Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy and Edie Butler of Grantsville.

Miss Daniel graduated from Fallston High School in 1998. She received a bachelor's of arts degree from Elon University in 2002. In 2006, Miss Daniel earned a master's of science degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently employed as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore County.

Dr. Butler received a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Maryland in 2001. In 2003, he earned a master's of science degree from the University of Virginia. He recently completed his doctorate in mechanical engineering at Johns Hopkins University and is currently employed as a research analyst in Alexandria, Va.

An August 2009 wedding is planned.
