Geis, Kasecamp engagement

FROSTBURG — Mr. and Mrs. Edward Geis of Frostburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Moriah Kay Geis, to Michael Kasecamp, also of Frostburg. The couple, who became engaged on Christmas Eve 2008, will be married in an outdoor ceremony to be held on the Geis farm, Bittersweet Acres, on July 25, 2009.

Moriah is the granddaughter of Laverne Geis and the late Edward Glyn Geis Sr. She is a 2000 graduate of Northern High School and received her bachelor’s degree of fine arts from Frostburg State University in 2005. In 2006, she successfully opened her own photography studio, Moriah K. Photography, located in Frostburg. Besides her photography, Moriah is also employed by the amazing Duncan family of Frostburg, where she cares for three of her favorite girls, Abigail, Eliza and Isabelle.

Michael Kasecamp is the son of Terry and Lawrence Kasecamp, both of Frostburg. He is the grandson of the late Pearl Hutchenson and the late Sam Kasecamp. He is a 2003 graduate of Beall High School. In 2008, Michael graduated from Frostburg State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business and finance. Michael is currently employed as a pension plan analyst at CBIZ, Cumberland.

Following the ceremony, a reception, featuring Queen City Funk and Soul, will be held at The Hen House Restaurant.

Invitations are being sent, and the couple is looking forward to sharing this special occasion with their family and close friends.
