Loibel, Hook engagement

CUMBERLAND — Mr. and Mrs. John Loibel of Cumberland are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Loibel, to James Gerald Hook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hook, also of Cumberland.

Jessica is a 2004 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood and elementary education. She is currently employed by the Allegany County Board of Education as a substitute teacher.

Jimmy is a 2000 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor of science degree in liberal studies, with a minor in chemistry. He is currently employed at X-Press Rent-A-Car and Sales.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at LaVale United Methodist Church, LaVale. A reception will follow at the Cumberland Country Club.
