Poe, Clem engagement

CUMBERLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Poe II are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Lynn, to Gene Calvin Clem III. Gene is the son of the Ms. Pamela Lee of Cumberland and the late Gene C. Clem II and is the stepson of Dennis Lee of Rawlings.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Fort Hill High School and received her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Allegany College of Maryland in 2007. Amy is currently employed with Dr. William B. Ludwick II in Keyser, W.Va.

Gene is a 2001 graduate of Westmar High School and graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology. Gene is currently in his second year in dental school at West Virginia University.

A Nov. 22, 2008, wedding is being planned. Invitations have been sent.
