Alysha Fairall will wed Samuel Watters in fall

— LAVALE — Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fairall of LaVale are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alysha L. Fairall, to Samuel J. Watters, son of Linda Watters, Hagerstown, and the late David N. Watters.

Alysha is the granddaughter of the late John D. and Myrtle J. Tucker of Cumberland and the late Alfred V. and Maxine H. Fairall of Cumberland.

Alysha is a 2003 graduate of Allegany High School and graduated from Towson University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a minor in Spanish.

Alysha is currently working as a registered nurse at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown and is pursuing her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Sam is the grandson of the late Samuel H. and Marianne L. Watters of Pittsburgh and Joseph Fisher of Pittsburgh and the late Mary Fisher.

Sam is a 2001 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. Sam graduated in 2006 from Kettering University in Flint, Mich., with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Sam is currently employed with Volvo Group Trucks Operations.

An October wedding is planned in Frederick.
