Simpson, Copeland engagement announced

— SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Together with their parents, Jamie Lynn Simpson and Aaron Layne Copeland are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Jamie is the daughter of Jim and Debbie Simpson, Short Gap, and the granddaughter of Belmont and Claris Moreland, Paw Paw, and Jim and Myna Simpson, Bedford, Pa., and great-granddaughter of Pauline Kidwell, Paw Paw, and the late Doc Kidwell. Jamie is a 2005 graduate of Frankfort High School and received her doctorate of physical therapy from West Virginia University in May 2012.

Jamie is currently employed by NextStep Pediatric Rehabilitation Services in Georgetown, S.C.

Aaron is the son of Gavin and Connie Copeland, Union, and the grandson of William Martin, Union, and the late Faye Martin, the late Paul Copeland, Greenville, and the late Patricia Copeland, Greenville.  He is a 2003 graduate of James Monroe High School and also received his doctorate of physical therapy from West Virginia University in May 2012.

Aaron is currently employed by Georgetown Hospital Systems, working at its inpatient rehabilitation unit located in Murrells Inlet, S.C.

The couple is planning a May 17, 2014, wedding at Chanteclaire Farm in Friendsville, Md.
