Carithers, Wohltjen engagement

— CUMBERLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Vicky Carithers of Cumberland are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bobbie Jean Carithers, to Robert Dietrich Wohltjen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Amy Wohltjen of Scarborough, Maine.

Bobbie is the granddaughter of Norma Long, Oldtown, and the late Robert Long and the late Gene and Betty Lou Carithers.

Bobbie is a 2005 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 2009 graduate of Towson University, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is currently a scheduling engineer with Kiewit Power Constructors, Houston, Texas. Robert is the grandson of Margaret Wohltjen, and the late Howard Wohltjen and the late Robert and Ann Fryer.

Robert is a 2006 graduate of Scarborough High School and a 2010 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master’s degree in global logistics and maritime management in 2011. He is currently a contracts manager with Kiewit Power Constructors, Homer City, Pa.

Bobbie and Robert will exchange wedding vows Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014.
