CUMBERLAND — Richard and Diana Graham of Cumberland, together with their granddaughter, Delanie Cherie Love Graham of Charles Town, W.Va., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter and Delanie’s mother, Rebecca Elizabeth, to Donald “Freddie” Alfred Gratz III, son of Donald and Joan Gratz of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.
Becca is the granddaughter of Richard and Janet Graham and Donald and Wanda Shrout of Cumberland.
Becca is a 2005 graduate of Allegany High School and a 2009 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor of science degree in mass communication and event planning. She graduated with a master of arts degree in elementary education from Frostburg State University in 2011. She is currently a third grade teacher in Shenandoah Junction.
Freddie is the grandson of Doris and Clay Pioth of Pawley's Island, S.C., and Tom Forrester, Strasburg, Va., and the late Pearl Forrester.
Freddie is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson High School, Shenandoah Junction, and a 2007 graduate of Shepherd University with dual bachelor of science degrees in accounting and business administration. He also is a 2008 graduate of Shepherd University with a master of business administration degree. He is currently a senior auditor in Rockville.
Freddie and Becca will exchange wedding vows in Disney World and a reception celebrating their marriage will be held late spring 2014 at the Cumberland Country Club.
