CUMBERLAND — Tiffany Claus, actress, model, Angelina Jolie impersonator and Allegany County native, has been selected to attend Land Rover’s America’s Polo Cup at the Capitol polo club in Poolesville this weekend. However, she will be there for much more than the polo competition between America and Australia.

Having won a modeling contest sponsored by television station DC 50, she will be featured in a nationally recognized and televised fashion show, “Rockin’ the Runway,” where Claus will walk the runway amongst “America’s Next Top Model” winners and other elite models. She will enjoy having V.I.P. access to much of the weekend festivities, which includes live music from American and Australian headliners such as American Idol Star Michael Johns, and also an evening concert with Will. I. Am, Grammy award winner and frontman for the Black Eye Peas.

There will be numerous live shows, wine tastings, cocktail parties and contests including a $1,000 best hat prize, and $1,000 best dressed couple prize, as judged by “Omarosa” from Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice.”

The CW Network will televise the Land Rover America’s Polo Cup Television Special “Where the Elite Meet” live to tape, as well as produce a special Land Rover America's Polo Cup television show that will air on May 16 at 8 p.m., and May 17 at 10:30 a.m.

The two-day competition and celebration will have a patriotic flair, with National Guard flyovers and other military demonstrations, including a parachute jump performed by Blackwater and the USO World Champion Parachute Team and grand finale fireworks.

Claus is no stranger to the celebrity spotlight, having appeared in feature films such as “Meet the Spartans,” and future release “301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus.” She also has enjoyed appearances on numerous nationally syndicated television shows such as “Tyra Banks,” “The Maury Show,” “Regis and Kelly” and “Inside Edition,” and magazines such as Stuff, Maxim, People and Marie Claire. She has appeared in many commercials and is currently spokesmodel for www.chacha.com.
