‘Take Two Kills’ featured aboard scenic railroad

Cumberland — CUMBERLAND — There is a prescription for murder as Tom Valentine Productions presents “Take Two Kills and Call Me in the Morning,” which will be staged Saturday aboard the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The train departs at 6 p.m. The show is part of the Murder Mystery Train series.

Dr. Izzy Hurrt (Valentine) leads the crack surgical team from Sacred Liver of Stone Hospital (SLOSH for short). The staff includes Nurse Kankers (Fran Vogtman); an unbalanced patient, Mortie Lecter (Tom Vogtman); a roving reporter, Amanda Gababout (Teresa Norris); a disorderly orderly named Karl (Tommy Nester); sexy Nurse Hottington (Kedra Gowans); and a surgeon that has been piling up body bags, Dr. Alfred Needles (Bill Dennison).

The new and original script follows the staffs’ misadventures of wanting to become the new CEO of SLOSH. This leads to the murder scene in the operating room, where patients have been known to be admitted — but never discharged.

Information about the show and future productions is available by calling (301) 759-4400.
