OAKLAND — Evelyn Margaret (Moser) Ault, 82 of Oakland, died Thursday June 8, 2006, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital.

Born May 26, 1924, in Granite City, Ill., she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Jasper) Moser. She was also preceded in death by her half brother, George McArdle.

Mrs. Ault was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and belonged to the Women’s Circle. She was an avid golfer, 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a precinct voting judge, and participated with the PTA and the Cub Scouts.

Surviving is her husband, Robert L. Ault of Oakland; two sons, Robert L. Ault Jr. of Reading, Pa., and Michael Ault of Chicago; half sister, Nancy Cantrell and husband Noah of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; half brother, John Moser Jr. of Arizona; grandchildren, Tan-ya Gallagher and husband Edward of Lititz, and Tricia Ault of Reading; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Burdock-Durst Funeral Home, 21 N. Second St., Oakland.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. T. Patrick Kerr officiating and the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Sherwood assisting.

Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point, W.Va.
