The volunteer examiners of the Mountain Amateur Radio Club will conduct examinations for all classes of amateur radio licenses Saturday, May 10, at the South Cumberland Library, Seymour and First streets, Cumberland. Registration will be at 9:15 a.m., and the exams begin at 9:30.
Any amateur radio operator wishing to upgrade should bring his current license and a copy of his signed original license issued by the FCC and any other certificates of successful completion issued by any volunteer exam coordinator.
A photo ID is required. Those with special needs are accommodated upon 24 hours advance request. Preregistration is requested for all participating in the exam sessions and there are no fees involved.
