RAWLINGS — Fore Sisters Golf cordially invites the golfing community to welcome in the 2007 golfing season with us at Fore Sisters Golf Course at Rawlings We will be starting our eighth year at Fore Sisters and are extremely proud of our accomplishments to date.

Our 18-hole golf course is spread out on a 300-plus acre niche of beauty surrounded by Maryland State Forest and Parks property. The views of Dan’s Mountain to the west and the West Virginia mountains to the east create a fantastic view from every fairway.

Players rarely see other golfers on the course and the quietness is relaxing. No noise, no roads, no people, but always much of nature’s foliage and many of nature’s deer and turkeys that will be your companions while visiting “their domain.”

Our “all cedar” clubhouse and restaurant fit magnificently in the surrounding trees and give you a fabulous view of our ponds with colored fountains spouting high in the air, and our beautiful waterfall cascading into the lake highlights our signature hole No. 7 with a spectacular setting.

The golf course greens, fairways and tees are all superior in their design and care, and the course has 10-foot wide cart paths for those golfers choosing to use Fore Sisters modern golf carts. Putting green and driving range are both near the clubhouse.

Fore Sisters Golf is Allegany County’s only public golf course. We do have a Men’s Golf Association and several leagues using the course. We welcome the public and we offer club memberships.

Our golfing season is from March 1 through November 30, and a basic individual membership for the 2007 year will be $880. Because of the many options offered by Fore Sisters to fit your individual golfing requirements, please telephone our pro shop at (301) 729-4000 and get pricing for your particular situation.

Basic green fees will be $21 per 18-hole round plus cart rental of $14. Rates will also be reduced for age and day played. We are anticipating a great golfing year in 2007 and we certainly want you to visit us at Fore Sisters.
