Donna G. Duda [Ridgeley]

RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Donna Garrettson Duda, 57, of Ridgeley, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at her home.

Born June 23, 1950 in Pawtucket, R.I., she was the daughter of Bernard Kirk Garrettson Sr. and Louise Grace Garrettson, Darlington, Md.

Donna retired from Verizon with 21 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Joseph E. Duda; her son, William H. Edwards and wife Michelle, Frederick, Md.; her brothers, Bernard K. Garrettson Jr. and wife Kathleen, Pinehurst, N.C., Gerald V. Garrettson and wife Diana, Callao, Va. and William H. Garrettson, Palm Desert, Calif.; her sister, Kimberly A. Garrettson and husband Craig Schwander, Elkton, Md.; and her grandchildren, Mason and Raina Edwards, Frederick.

A memorial service will be conducted at Darlington United Methodist Church, 2117 Shuresville Rd., Darlington, MD on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Potomac Valley Hospital, 167 South Mineral St., Keyser, WV 26726.
