Floyd A. Taylor [Buckhannon]

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — Floyd Allan Taylor, 65, of Buckhannon, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at his residence.

Born Sept. 5, 1943, in Beryl, he was the son of the late Henry and Georgia (Helmick) Taylor. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joanna Tichnell, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Evelyn Hamilton.

Mr. Taylor was a truck driver, having worked for L & J Trucking. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, Buckhannon.

He leaves behind his wife, Susann Mae (Hamilton) Taylor; three sons, Floyd A. Taylor, of New Braunsfels, Texas, Edward T. Taylor, of Oklahoma, and Donald E. Taylor, of Buckhannon; and a daughter, Joann M. Ware, of Buckhannon. He is also survived by five brothers, Junior Taylor, of Texas, Harry Taylor, of Westernport, Robert Taylor, of Westernport, James Taylor, of Westernport, and John Taylor, of Aberdeen; and fifteen grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating.

Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
