East Hardy whips Moorefield

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. - Molly Look scored 19 points and dished out four assists as fifth-ranked East Hardy rolled past Moorefield 51-31 in a Potomac Valley Conference game Saturday night.

Look hit seven field goals, including three three-point goals, and two free throws for her game-high total. Emily Biller added nine points and Holly Wilkins had eight points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

The Cougars (15-3 overall, 10-0 PVC) led 12-9 after one quarter and 27-19 at halftime, then outscored the Yellow Jackets 16-6 in the third for a 43-25 cushion.

Brittany Halterman made three three-pointers for nine points to lead Moorefield. Victoria Wright had eight points.

East Hardy will host Shenandoah Valley Academy tonight at 7 o'clock.
