Petersburg beats Moorefield 49-35

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Kayla Watts and Nikki Sites each scored 16 points as Petersburg bumped its record back above .500 with a win over Moorefield.

Watts scored her 16 points on eight field goals, while Sites made five field goals and six of seven foul shots. Courtney Kisamore finished with 11 points for the Vikings.

Petersburg led 11-6 after one quarter, 20-15 after two and 32-20 after three.

Blair Goodall scored 15 points for the Yellow Jackets, and Brittany Halterman had nine.

Petersburg (10-9) plays at Musselman tonight.
