No. 5 East Hardy tops Shenandoah Valley, 53-16

BAKER - Fifth-ranked East Hardy slammed the door on its regular season by holding Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy scoreless in the second and fourth quarters of a its win Monday evening.

The Cougars allowed five points during the first period, and then the other 11 points came during the third. East Hardy, on the other hand, built a 29-5 halftime lead, and was ahead 41-16 by the end of the third.

Molly Look finished with 16 points, and with four three-point goals, broke her own school record for three-pointers in a season. Look set the record last season by making 40, and now sits at 43 for this season.

Holly Wilkins scored 15 points, and had eight rebounds, and Nicole Timbrook added 12 points.

East Hardy finishes the regular season at 16-5, and will host West Virginia Deaf tonight at 7 p.m. in West Virginia Class A Sectional Playoff action.
