SAXTON, Pa. - Tussey Mountain, the top-rated team in the district, scored seven runs in the second inning to defeat Hyndman in five innings Thursday.
Elliott Chamberlain had an RBI double, while Cody Swope doubled and Dane Diehl hit an RBI single for Tussey Mountain.
For Hyndman, Kyle Bishop had two singles and Jeff Crosten had an RBI single in the first inning. The Hornets' pitching staff gave up 13 walks, with most of them coming in the second inning.
Hyndman (2-8) will play today, 4:30 p.m., at Turkeyfoot.
