Third-ranked Moorefield scored 43 runs on 38 hits Friday during a 22-6, 21-2 sweep of Tygarts Valley Friday night in high school baseball.
Moorefield (14-4) needed only 10 innings to win both games, and scored in every inning in which it batted.
Trevor Sites hit a two-run homer in the third inning of the opener, and Josh Stickley and Tanner Burns each tripled, doubled and singled. Bo Crites knocked in four runs with two doubles and a single.
Shawn Hibbard earned the win with seven strikeouts and one walk. He allowed nine hits.
Jake Hose finished with four RBIs in game two by hitting a double and two singles. Burns singled three times and knocked in two runs.
Crites tossed just 54 pitches to collect the victory, striking out six and allowing four hits in five innings.
Moorefield hosts Petersburg on Monday at 6 p.m.
