Northern JV beats Allegany JV, 10-7

ACCIDENT - Andy Umbel and Justin Shaw each had two hits and three RBIs to help Northern defeat Allegany Wednesday at Northern High School.

Umbel had a two-run base hit and an RBI single while Shaw had a two-run double and an RBI single. Teddy Linton had two base hits and an RBI and Steven Holtschneider had three hits and two RBIs, including a double.

Taylor had three hits and an RBI and Mullen had an RBI single.

Holtschneider came on in relief in the fourth inning and picked up the win.

Northern (8-3-1) visits Southern Saturday for an 11 a.m. doubleheader.
