No. 4 Pendleton takes two from Tucker County, 11-0 and 13-0

HAMBLETON, W.Va. - No. 4 Pendleton left nothing to the imagination Wednesday as the Wildcats combined for 24 runs and 27 hits, while allowing no runs and four hits sweeping Tucker County.
Pendleton needed only 10 innings to win both games, taking the first 11-0 and the second 13-0. It will play two games today with Petersburg, finishing one suspended game before playing a full second.
Brandon Raines had a no-hitter through four innings in the opener, before being lifted to rest his arm. Michael Mauzy pitched the fifth and allowed one hit.
Brandon Raines had a three-run homer of his own in the third inning of the second game, and also hit a triple. Godfrey added a double, two singles and two runs batted in to his first-game totals. Weimer had one RBI on two singles, and David Bowers hit a two-run single.
Colin Mitchell earned the victory by allowing two hits and strikeing out five.
Pendleton is 18-7 overall and 11-3 in the Potomac Valley Conference.
