Ashby belted four home runs, including two in the same inning in the second game, in powering the Rams, now 9-5 overall and 6-5 in the conference. He finished with seven hits and 10 runs batted in for the afternoon.
In the opener, Ashby hit a three-run homer and a single and Cody Parsons belted a two-run homer and a single to lead a 12-hit attack.
Southern trailed 1-0 until the 10-run second. Both of Parsons' hits, as well as a two-run double by Jake Briley, came in the big inning. Ashby's homer came in a four-run third that made it 14-1.
Keyser had 11 hits, with Scott Smith getting a double and single and Tyler Rohrbaugh and Maverick Nelson collecting two singles.
Nathan King pitched the first five innings for the victory. Jordan Pacella pitched two scoreless relief innings.
The Rams put the second game away early with a six-run first and a 10-run second.
