HYNDMAN, Pa. - Trailing 10-5, the Hyndman Hornets scored seven runs in the sixth inning to forge ahead and hold the lead in a come-from-behind victory over Forbes Road.
Kyle Bishop and Cody Thornton went 3-for-4, all singles, and knocked in two runs for Hyndman, while Jesse Minnick had two singles and knocked in a pair, and Josh Stair doubled and singled to knock in a run. Jeff Crosten had a two-run single.
A. King hit a three-run homer for Forbes Road.
Hyndman (4-8) will play Monday, 4:30 p.m., at Everett.
