Campers win two jayvee games

CUMBERLAND - The Allegany junior varsity team won two games over the weekend to improve to 10-5 with its final game of the season coming up today.

Jake Mullan hit a double, two singles and drove in three runs, and Jordan Marshall had two singles. Stephen Bonnett finished with two singles against Bishop Walsh.

The game was resumed in the bottom of the fourth on Saturday after being rained out on April 25. The Spartans were shut down after the game was resumed going three-up, three-down in all three innings.

On Friday, the Campers beat Frankfort 13-7 in Short Gap. Marshall hit two singles and a double to plate three RBIs, Bonnett added three RBIs with a double and a triple, and Mullan contributed two singles and two RBIs.

Weaver had two singles and two RBIs for the Falcons.

Allegany (10-5) will finish its season today, 6 p.m., at Mountain Ridge.
