Allegany JV beats Mountain Ridge JV, 4-0

LONACONING - Allegany scored three times in the seventh inning to open up a 1-0 game hand Mountain Ridge just its second loss of the year.

The Campers were led by Demetreous Taylor with three runs batted in on two doubles. Jake Mullan added a double. The Miners got two hits from Adam Stowell.

Kevin Hupe was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and one walk in a complete game. Ben Russell had eight strikeouts in the loss.

Mountain Ridge is 13-2 and will play a doubleheader with Northern Thursday, 4:30 p.m., at Westmar Middle.
