BAKER - Holly Wilkins tripled home the tying and go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally fifth-ranked East Hardy to a win over visiting Moorefield in their Potomac Valley Conference game Thursday evening.
East Hardy, which led 2-0 early, trailed 4-2 after 5 1/2 innings. Wilkins' two-run triple highlighted a three-run sixth.
Lindsey Bayse hit a double and single and knocked in a run for East Hardy (10-2). Molly Look pitched a five-hitter for the win.
Jeni Sites singled twice and drove in two runs for Moorefield (12-5). Bridget Ours had nine strikeouts in the loss.
East Hardy plays again tonight at Pikeview in Princeton. Moorefield hosts the Bub Riggleman Tournament today and Saturday.
