No. 3 Allegany rips Hancock, 17-1

CRESAPTOWN - Katie Alkire doubled and singled to knock in three runs, while winning pitcher Audrey Eisentrout doubled and singled twice to knock in three runs to lead Allegany over Hancock Wednesday at Carl Belt Field.

Bethany Landis doubled and singled to plate two runs for the Campers and Haylie Harper doubled home two more. Hilary Lyons and Beth Szymanski both had two singles.

Eisentrout struck out eight in five innings and did not issue a walk for the Campers.

Allegany (10-4) will play Clear Spring Friday, 4 p.m., in the first round of the West Region tournament.
