Twenty-three year-old junior college basketball star Tyree Evans has verbally committed to play for the University of Maryland, but has two misdemeanor convictions in his past. Head coach Gary Williams believes Evans deserves the chance to attend Maryland and play basketball for the Terps. Evans' fate will not be decided until the university's disciplinary office reviews his criminal misdemeanors and makes a recommendation to the admissions office. Should Evans be admitted to Maryland?
