Jenna, a 1-year-old female black Lab mix, is a sweet and gentle dog who is current on her vaccinations, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Allegany County Animal Shelter reports the following animals were found.
• A neutered male 8-year-old chocolate Lab mix on Williams Road, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Wednesday.
* Two male 6-month-old black short hair cats on Greene Street, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Saturday.
* A female 6-year-old black Labrador on Willowbrook Road, Cumberland.
Must claim by Monday.
* A male 3-year-old tri-colored husky/shepherd on Brice Hollow Road, Cumberland.
Must claim by Monday.
* A male 6-month-old orange tabby medium-hair cat on Virginia Avenue, Cumberland.
Must claim by Monday.
* A male chocolate Labrador mix with choke collar on Columbia Avenue, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Monday.
* A male 4-month-old gold cocker spaniel on Furnace Street, Cumberland.
Must claim by Monday.
* A male 2-year-old white and brown Jack Russell terrier on Oldtown Road, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Monday.
* A male neutered 4-year-old tan and black terrier mix on Oldtown Road, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Monday.
* A male neutered 2-year-old orange and white tabby medium hair (front declawed) on Kerr Road, Cumberland.
Must claim by Monday.
* A neutered male 2-year-old orange tabby medium-hair cat with front paws declawed on Kerr Road, Frostburg.
Must claim by Monday.
* A female adult white/brown Jack Russell Terrier with tan/white flea collar on Mexico Farms Road, Cumberland.
Owner must claim by Tuesday.
* A male 6-month-old black/white short-hair cat on Virginia Avenue, Cumberland.
Must claim by Tuesday.

Pet owners are reminded to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered to reduce the number of unwanted animals that have to be euthanized because no one will give them a home.
