Restocking the shelves

Cumberland Times-News

More than 80 walkers participated in the 35th annual CROP Walk on Sunday afternoon at Canal Place. Walkers banded together to raise funds to fight hunger locally and around the world. More than $8,000 of the $10,000 goal was raised with additional money yet to be turned in. Lonaconing also held its CROP walk Sunday. A portion of the funds raised go to the Western Maryland Food Bank and LaVale United Methodist and Interfaith Community food pantries.
