  • Fort Ashby Lions defeat Ridge View Enterprises, 11-0
    Aaron Lehman and Jeff Conley combined for 12 strikeouts in a six-inning three-hitter to lead the Fort Ashby Lions over Ridge View Enterprises at Hamilton Field.

  • Barney's Drywall tops KMK Insurance, 14-10
    Barney's Drywall scored eight runs over the first two innings, then survived a late rush from KMK Insurance at Lions Field.

  • Sindy sparks Bill Miller to season-opening win
    Cody Sindy finished 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and tossed a complete game three-hitter in leading Bill Miller Equipment to a 11-2 win over Frostburg First United.

  • Team-One Auto Mall defeats G&S Coal/New Page, 9-2
    Bubba Scheffel and Zach Knotts combined for a one-hitter and nine strikeouts in Team-One Auto Mall's win over G&S Coal.

  • Cork's Cars beats Keyser Timbrook, 11-1
    Ryan Bennett's three-run home run in the second inning helped spark the Cork's Cars over visiting Keyser Timbrook.

  • D&D Homes whips Keyser Moose, 12-1
    Adam Stowell ripped three doubles and Josh Fitzgerald belted a bases-loaded triple as D&D Homes defeated the Keyser Moose in the season opener for both teams at Barton Meadow Field Tuesday.

  • Barney's Drywall shuts out Piney Mountain, 10-0
    Connor O'Rourke struck out 10 in a five-inning shutout and Aaron O'Rourke and Eli Souders knocked in a pair of runs to lead Barney's Drywall/Flintstone to a season-opening win over Piney Mountain at Dickel Field Tuesday.

  • Grant County downs Ridgeview, 14-4
    Dustin Van Meter had three hits and Jesse Stump scored three runs in leading Grant County Mulch over Ridgeview Enterprises Tuesday.

    Hunter Haskiell pitched a complete-game three-hitter, striking out 10 without a walk to lead Team One Auto Mall over State Farm Insurance at Broadford Park Tuesday.

  • Hot Stove meeting tonight
    The Hot Stove Baseball League will meet tonight at the bingo hall in Ames Plaza. The executive board will meet at 6 p.m. with the managers meeting at 7 p.m. All paper work is to be finalized at this time.

  • Hot Stove League to hold equipment pickup Saturday
    The Hot Stove Baseball League will hold equipment pickup on Saturday, at the Hammer Complex, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Hot Stove League seeking coach
    The Hot Stove Baseball League is seeking a coach for a team in the Cumberland area for the upcoming season. The league is for players ages 13 to 15. Anyone interested in coaching should call (301) 707-9867.

  • Hot Stove sign-up at Frankfort High School
    Any player ages 13-15 who is eligible to play Hot Stove League baseball, living in the Ridgeley, Wiley Ford, Short Gap or Fort Ashby area, is asked to sign up Jan. 30, 7 to 8 p.m., at Frankfort High School.

  • Westernport Hot Stove meeting Jan. 20
    A meeting will be held Sunday, 6 p.m., at the St. Peter's School Building in Westernport for any Westernport-area child interested in playing Hot Stove baseball this coming season.

  • Hot Stove sets meeting
    The Hot Stove Baseball League will meet Thursday at the Hot Stove Bingo Hall.
