Team-One Auto Mall defeats G&S Coal/New Page, 9-2

WESTERNPORT - Bubba Scheffel and Zach Knotts combined for a one-hitter and nine strikeouts in Team-One Auto Mall's win over G&S Coal.

Knotts helped himself at the plate with a two-run double that put Team One up 3-0. Team-One added a run in the fourth and five in the fifth.

Calvin Hilliard hit a bases-loaded triple and Aaron Shotwell knocked in the other two runs with a single during the fifth.

Jacob Miller drove in two runs with G&S Coal's only hit during the fifth inning.

Miller, Cody Malone and A.J. Saweikis combined for nine strikeouts for G&S, but also issued nine walks.

Team-One (2-0) will play Monday at Broadford Park when it faces Cork's Cars.
